I have been juicing for years with a few different cheap brand names. They were ok but very difficult to clean and very loud. I like to make my juice early in the morning before I go to the gym and it would sometimes wake up my neighbors if I did it too early. Many times I had to juice after the gym because it was so loud. The first thing that I noticed with the Power Juicer Pro is that it is super quite. Secondly it is pretty easy to clean. Thirdly, the machine is just beautiful. And lastly, the juice is much finer and cleaner than juice made from much cheaper machines. If you are serious into juicing and you do it everyday this is the machine to get. If you juice once in awhile you might want to get the cheaper Jack Lalanne plastic models. But beware that the plastic juicers are harder to clean and often get stained by the carrots. Before I start my review, I thought I'd point out how the reviews here for the product are either great or horrible. Nothing in the middle, which is very strange. I almost wonder if some folks are mistakely thinking of another product.
I've been using this product almost daily for about 2 or 3 months now, and it has always done a great job. It's designed well for easy assembly and disassembly, and cleaning.
The only reason this product might not work well is if the owners don't take care of it. There's nothing difficult about using and maintaining this product, but neglect might easily ruin it.
The only concern area might be the blade, which on mine is almost at the point of wanting to replace. I'm not sure yet how easy it might be to get a replacement, and/or how much it might cost.
